OMGI multi-asset business becomes Quilter Investors

Quilter has rebranded its multi-asset investment business to become Quilter Investors.

The £17.1bn asset manager is part of what used to be Old Mutual Global Investors, which is being broken in two between the multi-asset business, which is being kept by Quilter, and the single strategy business, which was sold to a consortium led by star fund manager Richard Buxton.

The rebrand follows the listing of Quilter - formerly Old Mutual Wealth - on the London Stock Exchange last week.

Paul Simpson, chief executive of Quilter Investors, said: "As one of the fastest growing multi-asset investment businesses in the UK, we now have the chance to galvanise the success we have achieved under the new Quilter Investors identity."

Its range of multi-asset investment solutions including Cirilium, Generation, Creation and the sub-advised funds within WealthSelect now carry the new brand and Quilter Investors prefix, while the Compass portfolios designed for the international market will be rebranded at a later date.

Michelle Andrews, chief marketing officer at Quilter, said: "The successful introduction of Quilter Investors is more than just a rebrand, it is an important milestone in developing a modern range of multi-asset solutions that advisers feel confident in recommending and which deliver measurable outcomes for customers and their families."

Each of Quilter's businesses will gradually be rebranded, with Intrinsic to become Quilter Financial Planning and the UK platform to become Quilter Wealth Solutions.

A date for when these businesses will be rebranded has not yet been set.
