Fidelity FundsNetwork head to retire

The head of Fidelity's FundsNetwork platform will retire at the end of the year.

Pat Shea has been in the role since 2012 and led the business through replatforming onto Bravura.

Pete Horrell, UK managing director at Fidelity International, said: "I would like to convey my thanks and appreciation to Pat for his outstanding contribution to Fidelity and the industry during his long and illustrious career. I wish him a very happy retirement.

"I’m pleased to say that Pat will remain in his role until the end of the year to help us in the recruitment of his successor and to ensure a smooth transition."

Before becoming head of FundsNetwork, Mr Shea worked in a variety of roles and across a number of geographical regions at Fidelity International.

This included head of UK and European customer services, managing director for Fidelity International in Taiwan and chief operating officer for Fidelity International in Hong Kong.
