Rowan Dartington hires intermediary manager

Wealth manager Rowan Dartington is looking to grow its intermediary and international divisions with the appointment of Bryan Parkinson.

He will become managing director for Rowan Dartington Intermediaries and International and will be responsible for developing the company's discretionary fund management proposition.

Mr Parkinson be replaced as regional director for the north by Glen Wilson.

Graham Coxell, Rowan Dartington's executive chairman, said: "These developments are core to our overall growth strategy for the business. Since our acquisition by St James’s Place, Rowan Dartington's intermediary and international divisions have gone from strength to strength.

"As managing director of these businesses, Bryan will focus on expanding our already strong industry presence, whilst also bolstering our international services.

"We also have great ambitions in the regions and continually strive to strengthen and support our teams across the UK. We are therefore pleased to have Glen on board driving forward development in the north."

Mr Parkinson joined Rowan Dartington in December 2016 as regional director for the north having previously been at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management.

Mr Wilson has joined Rowan Dartington from Lloyds Banking Group, where he was most recently regional director for SME banking for the Midlands.
