Frenkel Topping AUM grow to £778m

Frenkel Topping has seen its assets under management increase by 43 per cent to £778m.

The advice firm, which specialises in asset protection for vulnerable clients, said its results for 2018 were in line with market expectations.

The company said its 2018 asset growth reflected the "significant investments" made in its HR, marketing and IT systems during last year, including the Frenkel Topping Academy, which trains specialist consultants to understand and manage the financial affairs of vulnerable clients.

Richard Fraser, chief executive of Frenkel Topping, said: "I am pleased to report our full-year results will be in line with market expectations, and the new financial year has started positively.

"Our recent investments in training and development have delivered solid growth and a strong platform for the future.

"Our business model remains robust, supported by a conservative investment approach that ensures we look after the complex needs of our clients throughout the investment cycle and look to the future with optimism."

Frenkel Topping, with provides advice and wealth management to those who win personal injury and clinical negligence awards, said this area had been a "key driver" of growth.

Instructions in this area increased by 30 per cent over 2017, which had resulted in a "solid start" to the 2019 financial year.
