Adviser data app launched

Prestwood Software and Intelliflo have introduced a data app for financial planners using Intelligent Office and Truth.

In a new two-way integration financial planners will be able to share comprehensive planning data via an app available in the iO Store.

Advisers that use the management systems can make changes and updates to information across applications, regardless of where they are.

They will be able to use cashflow modelling for all clients, eliminating the need for double entry.

According to Prestwood there is a growing need for more consistent, transparent and streamlined advice processes.

Ritchie Walton, managing director of Prestwood Software, said: “We have both long agreed that providers should work in partnership with each other to offer the best solutions for financial planners in the UK.

“Our focus has always been on making life easier for financial planners - providing simple, yet powerful cashflow modelling tools that are essential, in our view, for providing sound advice.”

Truth is an interactive tool that enables financial planners to adjust clients’ future objectives in real-time.

Meanwhile, Intelligent Office software aims to streamline business functions and create efficiencies for advisers.

Martin Bamford, chartered financial planner at Informed Choice, said: “Integration between the different software tools we use is essential to drive efficiency and reduce errors.

“While most IFAs are not processing huge volumes of data, every opportunity to save rekeying and to keep information consistent across different systems is very welcome.”
