The best of the best

This is the 29th year of the Financial Adviser Service Awards, and there is much to celebrate this year.

Many companies have made huge efforts to up their game and deliver five-star service, year after year – and these awards, held once a year in London’s Natural History Museum, reflect that fact.

The awards are a chance for advisers to give their verdict on the quality of service that providers have delivered over the past year by judging them on the support and quality of processing, along with various other factors.

Each year, Financial Adviser celebrates the best company in financial services and those that have made an outstanding achievement, as well as those that have improved the most over the past year, by jumping up their star category rankings.

The results are collected over the summer with advisers voting on FTAdviser and submitting paper copies by post, and the results are analysed by Coredata, assessing which companies achieved the highest scores.

These are then ranked, according to which companies did best, and a star rating is allocated to each company, from five stars for the best to one star for the worst.

It is the five star winners you will read about in this special supplement.

The event this year was hosted by comedian Paul Chowdhry, who kept the audience in fits as he made fun of those sitting near the front, who then went on to win some of the biggest prizes of the night.

Also in this supplement you will see the pictures taken on the night of people who attended the event, in their party frocks and smart evening suits, making the best of the night’s entertainment.
