Running one's business comes with challenges in many practical ways - how to make sure you have the right technological tools to manage one's own affairs as well as one's clients.

Some of these issues are particular to financial advisers: how should they manage their platform account? What happens if they are unhappy with their platform?

Many platforms have been upgrading, affecting service and prompting many adviser to wonder if they should move to another provider.

But there are also other aspects to consider: what back office system should they use, and what are the key points to look for?

And in the current climate what tools are available to keep one's cashflow running?

All these questions are perhaps even more relevant right now while we are in the middle of a pandemic, which is putting enormous pressure on advisers and clients alike.

Hopefully this guide will go some way to addressing some of these issues.

It is worth an indicative 60 minutes CPD.
