Using third parties to recruit paraplanners

In my view, the person paying the fee is the client. The person paying north of £6,000 should be a treasured, sacred client.

However, more often than not, recruitment consultants talk to and treat the candidate as the client.

Try not to get into a relationship with a consultant who makes you feel like a cash machine. Rather, work with someone who understands which party they represent.

I must say that recruitment consultants get a bad rap because the bad ones really are terrible. There are some great ones too, so keep the good ones close to you.
