Carmignac and SimplyBiz have launched a bespoke model portfolio service designed for advisers.
The two firms have agreed a three-year distribution deal to provide the portfolios, which are based on SimplyBiz’s strategic asset allocation model.
They will be licensed through Hymans Robertson, and will form part of its range of risk-controlled solutions.

Maxime Carmignac, managing director of Carmignac’s UK branch, added that the model portfolios were designed with investors’ objectives and profiles in mind, with a strong focus on resilience in the medium and long term.
“SimplyBiz’s support will be key in providing these genuine investment solutions meeting UK investors’ needs," she said.
The distribution as a service product is a subscription-based service which includes research, data, product design and targeted distribution.
It allows providers to tailor their products to specific customers based on behavioural insights data.
The service is delivered through the digital portal of Fintel, SimplyBiz's parent company, allowing partners to access their data, and events and marketing plans in real time.
This was partly made possible by Fintel's acquisition of Defaqto in March 2019, which allowed it to develop digital, data-led consultancy services.
