Should there be more transparency around advice fees?

Would it be a flat fee, or a percentage? A one-off payment, or a recurring charge? Are we potentially talking hundreds of pounds, or thousands?

If good advice is worth paying for, perhaps there should be more openness from the outset about how much it costs, or at least how it is charged.
