Canada Life Investments has launched 11 funds into the UK adviser market as it targets retail investors for the first time.

The Oeic fund range is set to be added to platforms throughout 2013.

Eight of the funds are managed by Canada Life Investments fund managers while the other three employ outsourced investment managers.

Among the funds being made available to advisers is Bill Harer and Michael Count’s £189m CF Canlife Corporate Bond fund, which delivered a top-quartile performance in the five years to December 28 according to Morningstar.

The group is also launching Mike Willans’ £132.7m CF Canlife North American fund, which has delivered five-year returns that rank it eighth out of 71 funds in its IMA sector, to the advised market.

The funds all offer clean-fee shares levying annual charges of 0.75 per cent.

The range also includes UK Equity Income and Asia Pacific Equity funds as well as a Global Bond offering.

The three funds run by external managers include the CF Canlife Total Return fund, run by Putnam Investments’ head of asset allocation Jeffrey Knight.
