Investment Adviser has cemented its class-leading status by snapping up the asset management industry’s top journalism accolade for a second consecutive year.

The title won the Investment Management Association’s Team Award for Excellence in Investment Writing 2013 at the trade body’s annual dinner, held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel last night.

The retention of the accolade follows a period of development for Investment Adviser in recent years, including an extensive redesign and expansion of its multi-media activities.

The brand has also expanded into events by launching the Investment Adviser 100 Club series, bringing a fresh approach to highlighting the best investment products available to intermediaries.

More recently Investment Adviser has launched an ambitious readership expansion into the discretionary and wealth management sectors to reflect the evolution of investment distribution since the RDR.

The magazine’s content has also been upgraded to reflect the changing needs of its audience and it represents a truly RDR-ready resource for investment intermediaries.

Elsewhere, regular Investment Adviser contributor Cherry Reynard was named as Freelance Journalist of the Year.

We would like to thank the groups that voted for Investment Adviser in this year’s IMA awards.
