Three members of the investment team at Invesco Perpetual have quit the firm to join Neil Woodford at his new company.

A spokesperson for Woodford Investment Management confirmed Stephen Lamacraft, Paul Lamacraft and Saku Saha had been offered roles at the company.

Invesco Perpetual confirmed the three staff members were leaving the company.

It added Stephen Lamacraft ran money at the firm while the other two were analysts.

It said Stephen Lamacraft had been responsible for the UK equities element on the Invesco Pan European Equity Income fund and that these responsibilities had been taken over by James Goldstone, UK equities fund manager, “who works closely alongside Mark Barnett, Martin Walker and Ciaran Mallon”.

“Saku and Paul’s responsibilities were as analysts within the team,” Invesco said.

“These responsibilities have been taken over by Frederick Bouverat and other members of the UK equities team.

“Under the leadership of Mark Barnett, Invesco Perpetual has recently strengthened the UK equities team, with the appointments of John Richards, previously chief investment officer at Société Générale Asset Management UK, and Hilary Cook as UK equities product directors.”
