Parmenion is to roll out a new online simplified advice service to assist advisers in providing a lower-cost service to mainstream clients.

Interact, which was developed in house over the past two years, was described by the provider as a “natural evolution” of its platform software and ready for an official launch in the autumn.

The service is an online process that takes clients from an initial risk review through to a suitability report.

Parmenion says the initial process takes just 10 minutes and can help advisers to transform an average nine-hour advice process into a 45-minute meeting.

Steve Trott, proposition director at Parmenion, said: “Clients need the assurance of regulated financial advice to give them the confidence to invest. Consumers engage online everyday and the web is the natural starting point for anyone seeking advice.

“Now, through Interact, the advice journey can compliantly reach its final destination online. This will draw large numbers of clients back to financial advisers.”

“It all sounds good from a technology point of view. We have been using FinaMetrica for over 10 years and we find these tools to be excellent to start conversations. The FCA wants advisers to use tools just to aid discussion.”
