AKG Actuaries and Consultants has appointed Matt Ward as its new head of communications.
In his previous role, Mr Ward was wealth management consultant at research company Defaqto. He held positions at the firm for 15 years.
Mr Ward will now lead marketing and communication activities while supporting the continued expansion of AKG’s core provider profile services, as well as the development of its consultancy proposition.
Guy Vanner, managing director at AKG, said: “We believe that Matt’s industry profile and his extensive product and market knowledge will provide valuable support to the ongoing development of the AKG business and our services to the provider and adviser communities.”
Mr Ward added: “I know the value placed on AKG’s output by financial advisers and product providers and I’m looking forward to supporting the continued growth of an established brand and proposition”.
