Holly Mackay, founder and managing director Platforum, has resigned and will be leaving in November after six years at the company.

The firm said Ms Mackay has been actively involved in the handover to the new team.

Ms Mackay said: “I have had a great time building and developing the business which is going from strength to strength.

“I’d like to thank our lovely clients and readers for their encouragement, advice, input and content over the last six years.”

Ms Mackay will still be chairing the annual Platforum conference on 8 October this year.

The company has also made a number of other key personnel changes.

Heather Hopkins has been appointed director of research, and is due to start the new role next month.

Ms Hopkins previously held senior roles with Experian, Hitwise and Econsultancy. She will work alongside Georgina Pardoe, head of marketing and strategy, who started at Platforum in July, moving from Aberdeen Asset Management where she was head of European marketing.
