Four Capital Partners has hired ING’s Adour Sarkissian to launch a US equity fund.

The group runs UK, European and Global equity funds already but said it would now expand this to include a US equity product.

At ING, he ran the US High Dividend fund from 2007 until this year, during which time assets rose from $100m (£62,2m) to $1.7bn.

Prior to that, he worked as a US equity manager with Capital at Work between 2005 and 2007, and with S&P Investment Services from 2001 to 2005.

He has more than 15 years’ investment experience, focused on North American equities.

He will start in his new position in October in Four’s London offices.

Derrick Dunne, a founding partner of Four, said Mr Sarkissian had a “great track record” and expected the group had the “solid operational infrastructure” to make sure the manager could “continue producing peer group leading performance”.
