Five graduates of Leeds Building Society’s apprenticeship scheme have moved into full-time jobs with the society, general manager Becky Hewitt has announced.

She said: “The apprenticeship scheme is an important way to bring in talented young individuals to specific business areas and support them as they develop in what can be challenging roles to become valued colleagues in their teams and the business as a whole.”

The graduates completed advanced level apprenticeships level three NVQ, in areas such as providing financial services and business and administration, and completed two years’ paid workplace training.

Since its inception in 2012 Leeds Building Society’s apprenticeship scheme has seen 16 people pass through its ranks.

Apprentices complete Advanced Level Apprenticeships in Providing Financial Services, Business Administration, Customer Service, Marketing and Accountancy across sites in Leeds and the North East.
