Troy changes name of Gabrielle Boyle’s Capital fund

Troy Asset Management has changed the name of Gabrielle Boyle’s Troy Capital fund to emphasise the global equity remit of the fund.

The asset manager has decided, pending FCA approval, to change the name of its £96m Troy Capital fund to the Troy Trojan Global Equity fund.

The fund aims to invest in UK and overseas equities to achieve capital growth over the long term, according to the fund’s factsheet.

Since Ms Boyle was appointed to the fund in November 2011, the fund has taken on a more global approach because of her background in global and international equities.

In April 2012 the fund was moved from the IMA Flexible Investment into the IMA Global sector.
