Troy Asset Management has promoted Hugo Ure to be co-manager of the Troy Income & Growth trust along with Francis Brooke.
Mr Ure had been assistant manager on the trust since September 2011 after having joined Troy in January 2009.
Troy, and Mr Brooke, took on the management of the trust in August 2009, prior to which it was run by Glasgow Investment Managers and called Glasgow Income.
Since Troy took on the trust it has delivered a total return of 141.5 per cent, according to FE, beating the sector average of 123.39 from the AIC UK Equity Income sector.
