Ascentric’s sales and marketing director quits

Ascentric’s sales and marketing director Mike Morrow has left the company for a new role.

Jon Taylor, managing director of Ascentric, confirmed the departure after three years with the platform and wished him well.

“We are considering how the team should be structured to maximise our position following the implementation of Accelerator,” he stated.

“In the interim, Justin Blower and Sarah Lyons will take on the roles of head of sales and head of marketing respectively.”

Mr Morrow joined the firm in January 2012 from HSBC, where he was UK head of commercial wealth management, having also previously been head of platform distribution at Axa Wealth.

He follows chairman and former chief executive Hugo Thorman out of the door earlier this year, as parent company Royal London moved to acquire the remaining 15 per cent stake it did not already own in the wrap.
