FTAdviser Online Service Awards winners revealed

Prudential was named ‘company of the year’ at last night’s FTAdviser Online Service Awards after close to 1,000 of FTAdviser intermediary readers rated the provider among the top in the industry for investments and life and pensions.

The provider picked up the top award of the night, which was held at Fabric in London last night (25 June), as well as winning five-star recognition in the investments and life and pensions categories.

Prudential’s prize last night came after the provider won an outstanding achievement award in 2014.

This year the outstanding achievement gong went to Partnership, who also achieved five stars in both the mortgages and life and pensions categories.

Providers were rated for the overall functionality and design of their technology, plus how well they process business.

The overall winner in the mortgage provider category was Precise, with TSB, Partnership, The Mortgage Works, Just Retirement, and Nationwide Building Society also being awarded five-stars.

In the investment category, Rathbones, Octopus, Quilter Cheviot, Old Mutual Wealth, Investec, Prudential, Seven Investment Management, and Transact were all awarded with five-stars but the overall five-star winner as well as most improved firm was Premier Asset Management.

Life and pensions companies that were praised for their online service by advisers were Partnership, AJ Bell, LV, Exeter Family Friendly, Old Mutual Wealth, Royal London and the top ranked in this category was Prudential.

Vitality Life was voted by intermediaries as the most improved life and pensions provider.

This year the consistent service excellence award was given to Royal London, which racked up five years of consistently first rate online service and was last year’s FTAdviser company of the year.

At the FTAdviser Online Service Awards, attendees also got to experience a new innovative virtual reality experience, in collaboration with our technology sponsor Partnership.
