FSCS levies are a “penalty for success”: Lakey

Across the UK, advisers found their levy had risen as a result of their profitable, strong businesses. Alan Lakey, partner at Hertfordshire-based Highclere Financial Services, said his levy had increased from £318.26 to £389.54 - a 22 per cent increase.
