Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has brought in two strategists from BNP Paribas for its asset allocation team.

Willem Klijnstra and Chris Jeffery will join Lgim at the beginning of March as strategists within the tactical asset allocation research and strategy team.

They will report to Emiel van den Heiligenberg, head of asset allocation at LGIM, and will work with the company’s portfolio management and investment teams, in both fixed income and asset allocation.

Mr Klijnstra had been head of research and acting chief investment officer at BNP Paribas, while Mr Jeffery was a senior tactical asset allocation strategist.
