BlackRock cuts fee on natural resources fund

BlackRock has cut the annual management charge (AMC) on the £9m BlackRock Natural Resources Growth and Income fund following a review of its pricing,

From April 17, the clean fee share class D AMC will be reduced from 1 per cent to 0.75 per cent and the AMC on commission-paying class A shares will be come down from 1.75 per cent to 1.5 per cent.

The fund, which changed its name from the BlackRock World Resources Income fund last year, is managed by Catherine Raw, Joshua Freedman, Desmond Cheung and Tom Holl.

The fund has lost 8.9 per cent since its launch in May 2011.
