The increase applies for applications received from 8 September. The building society has moved away from scaling fees based on the length of the product but instead applies across the product range.
Keith Barber, associate director, said that the move “offers an excellent opportunity for brokers to serve those clients whose needs are not being met by traditional lenders”.
