Rising cost of living is biggest retirement concern

More than half of UK adults – 53 per cent – are worried about the rising cost of living in the belief this will hit their retirement income hardest.

According to a survey from MGM Advantage, 32 per cent of people approaching retirement believe they should retain some exposure to stocks and shares to offset the negative effects of inflation on their income in retirement.
