Three senior platform staff are set to leave Axa Wealth in the coming months, including Mark Links and 28-year Axa Wealth veteran Nick Elphick.

A spokesperson for the company said Mr Links, head of operations at Axa Elevate, will leave the business ahead of a move back to Australia while Nick Elphick, managing director of specialist products for Axa Wealth, will leave next week after 28 years with the business.

Later this year, it is expected Andrew Smith, former Elevate chief operating officer, will leave the company at the end of the year as his role no longer exists, the company said.

“He will hand over his current responsibilities in the coming months,” a spokesperson added

Mr Links joined Axa in April last year from Saunderson House, where he spent nearly three years. Prior to that he worked at Transact owner Integrated Financial Arrangements as head of operations.

Mr Smith joined Axa Wealth in September 2012 having worked at Nucleus since 2008.

The forthcoming departure comes as the company announced earlier this week it had reorganised its senior executive team.

David Thompson, former managing director for Elevate from Axa Wealth, was appointed to the new role of managing director of business development and proposition, while Dave Cheeseman, formally finance director, now runs a new commercial operations division, looking after IT, operations and finance.

The senior executive team also comprises director of strategy, Dave Brown, head of strategic communications, Paul Riddell, HR director, Julie Scott and director of business risk Andy Purvis.
