Support services provider Bankhall has teamed up with another firm to offer support to its members.

Bankhall will be working with Phil Billingham Partnership on a business development programme which will be rolled out through 2015.

It will initially focus on how business models are evolving in light of factors such as independent and restricted advice, corporate structures, and increasing profitability and stability.

Sesame Bankhall Group managing director Stephen Gazard said: “The comprehensive support already rolled-out by Bankhall has helped firms to adapt their business models for the post-RDR world.

“However, it is clear from our conversations with advisers that the challenge of moving from transaction-based sales to a relationship model requires a considerable change in mind-set.

“The launch of our new programme builds on our popular business development workshops.

“We want to do more to meet growing demand from advisers in this area, which is why Bankhall is launching a series of new initiatives to help firms develop their business skills.”
