Hargreaves Lansdown’s David Davies has been named chief information officer of the year at the UK IT Industry Awards 2014.
He said: “The rapid pace of technological evolution means that the effective management of information is absolutely vital to the success of any large financial services organisation. Our whole IT team has had to meet some major challenges over the past year. This award is for all of them as much as it is for me.”
Organised by BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT and Computing, the awards acknowledge best practice, innovation and excellence in the industry.
