Axa Elevate: Elevate platform behind our success

The launch of Intelligent Investment Choices on Axa Wealth’s Elevate earlier this year was a collaborative effort with advisers who have helped shape the platform’s evolution, according to Axa’s David Thompson.

The managing director of business development and proposition at Axa Wealth said: “We know people’s investment needs differ, so our new range is available across our full proposition, whether advisers are investing through our Elevate platform, our specialist pensions products or our international business.”

Axa Wealth has carried out extensive research to ensure all funds were featured on merit. Mr Thompson said: “We have one eye looking out for new, innovative investment ideas that add diversity and potentially something different to clients’ investment portfolios. The range will feature the funds that we believe are the best in the market. Advisers can then use the selected funds to build a variety of portfolios suitable for individual clients, allowing them to build a better financial future for their clients and their families.”

The Elevate platform is aimed at making life in a world of regulatory change easier for advisers.

Mr Thompson said: “Working in partnership is at the core of our adviser relationships, highlighted by the extent of platform and business support undertaken by our consultancy team this year, helping adviser firms embed not just the technology, but also the regulatory changes brought about this year.

“We do not take this support for granted, however, and will be working even harder to ensure we continue to invest in the platform to help ensure Elevate remains at the forefront of platform design, both in terms of proposition and simplicity, to deliver real customer benefit.”

Prudential: We offer advisers practical help for challenges ahead

For a number of years Prudential has been working hard to provide practical help for advisers as they deal with new challenges across the industry, according to John Warburton, the company’s executive director of distribution.

He said: “Having adapted their business models ahead of RDR, many advisers continue to explore new ways to grow their businesses and provide added value services to their clients.”

Prudential’s business consultancy team has aimed to deliver what Mr Warburton described as powerful support material, with an emphasis on business growth and development. The team has also sought to help many advisers in ways that are specific to their individual business needs.
