Hermes has expanded its emerging market equities team with the hire of Oliver Leyland from Mirae Asset Global Investments.
Mr Leyland has joined Hermes as head of Latin America and as a senior analyst on the emerging market equities team.
Reporting to Gary Greenberg, head emerging markets at Hermes and manager of the Hermes Emerging Markets fund, Mr Leyland will bring the emerging markets team up to nine.
At Mirae, Mr Leyland had been a senior equity analyst covering Latin America, having previously worked at Citi in London as an equity analyst.
