Emerging market trio resigns from F&C

A trio of specialist emerging market managers at F&C Investments have resigned from the group.

Kristof Bulkai, Hugo Rogers and Patrick Cadell had joined the group as part of its takeover of boutique Thames River in 2010 but will have now resigned, F&C said.

Mr Bulkai joined Thames River in September 2008, while Mr Rogers joined in November that year and Mr Cadell joined in March 2005.

The three are members of F&C’s global emerging market equities team and specialise in thematic absolute return strategies.

Mr Bulkai and Mr Rogers run the $24m (£15.5m) F&C Water and Agriculture Long Short fund. Mr Cadell and Mr Bulkai run the $16.5m (£10.7m) F&C Directional Opportunities fund.

F&C said the managers would continue to run the funds until they leave.
