Wealth manager Ashcourt Rowan has hired Jamie Frere-Scott as funds director to replace Alan Scrimger who left the business last year.
The group said Mr Frere-Scott would report to asset management chief executive Harry Burnham and work closely with chief investment officer Toni Meadows.
Former head of fund research Mr Scrimger left the group to join boutique investment manager IPS Capital in March last year. He had held the fund research head role at Ashcourt on a consultant basis.
Prior to joining Ashcourt Rowan, Mr Frere-Scott was head of research at Mobius Life and was lead manager on their UK Fixed Income and UK Equity funds and co-manager of the Multi Strategy & World Equity funds.
