Simon Hynes is returning to the industry to join Legal and General Investment Management as head of UK retail sales, Investment Adviser can reveal.
Mr Hynes will report to Honor Solomon, head of EMEA retail distribution, who was hired by the group in October 2014.
Mr Hynes has been on sabbatical after leaving Jupiter last July. He was at Jupiter for 12 years and left after three months of being promoted to global head of distribution.
Prior to the global role, Mr Hynes was head of client coverage for the UK, overseeing retail, wealth management and institutional sales.
