Heartwood shuffles management teams

Heartwood Investment Management has aligned the management of its global multi-asset portfolios with the corresponding research teams.

Heartwood has three research teams focused on fixed income, equity and alternatives, with each of these feeding into the asset allocation process. Its management has now been aligned with the teams.

As part of this, the lower risk investment strategies - defensive and cautious - will be managed by David Absolon and Scott Ingham respectively, who are responsible for fixed income research.

The higher risk investment strategies - balanced and growth - will be managed by Michael Stanes and Jade Fu, of the equity research team.

Jaisal Pastakia will be responsible for Heartwood’s income range.

Noland Carter, head of Heartwood Investment Management, said: “These changes more clearly align the management of each strategy with the research responsibilities that members of the investment team have.”

The investment strategies are global multi-asset portfolios, and are available as funds, segregated accounts and models on platforms.
