Thousands of pets are being given away this January as unwanted Christmas presents, according to Confused.com.
Apparently, more than one in 10 have given their pet away, with dogs and then cats topping the list.
We obviously live in an age where we feel no compunction taking unwanted items back to the shop, but surely people couldn’t reject a puppy? Perhaps we should be giving people Isas instead.
