Canada Life Group Insurance has launched a free auto enrolment video to help advisers promote their brand and educate corporate clients.

The video, targeted at smaller employers that are due to set up their workplace pensions, can be used by advisers to explain what AE is, how to become compliant, and the support offered by the adviser firm, the group said.

It can be branded with an adviser’s company name, contact details and logo at no cost and placed on their website, emailed out to prospective clients or for advisers to promote themselves online.

Dan Crook, sales director at Canada Life Group Insurance, said: “The pensions market is soon to be flooded by employers who have never sought professional help before. This surge of new business entering the market in 2016 represents a huge opportunity for advisers who operate in the employee benefits space.

“At Canada Life, we want to be viewed as the provider that’s doing the most to support advisers as they navigate their way through this uncharted territory.”

Adviser view

Nigel Sycamore, director of West Yorkshire-based Clear Workplace, said: “This sounds fantastic. I think advisers who are going to advise on AE will need to find an easy and cheap way of educating their employers of small firms on the matter.

“Sending a video is certainly easier and cheaper than an adviser making a personal visit to the client.”
