JPMAM manager Kirkman takes leave of absence

Peter Kirkman, who works on JPMorgan Asset Management’s (JPMAM) £242m Global Unconstrained Equity fund and four other portfolios, will take a leave of absence at the end of March.

JPMAM said managers Sam Witherow and Tim Woodhouse will assume lead portfolio manager responsibilities on the Global Unconstrained Equity fund and the JPMorgan Funds – Global Unconstrained Equity portfolio.

Mr Kirkman will pass portfolio management responsibilities for the £104m JPM Global Financials fund and the offshore JPMorgan Funds – Global Financials product to James Cook and Simon Poncet, while Alex Stanic will work as lead portfolio manager on the JPMorgan Funds - Global Developing Trends Sicav.

There will be no changes to the funds’ investment processes, according to the fund house.
