Axa IM discretionary sales head exits after 17 years

Axa Investment Managers’ head of discretionary sales Stephen Gray has left the firm after 17 years.

Mr Gray had been head of discretionary sales at the firm, reporting into head of wholesale Rob Bailey, since November 2011.

Axa IM said Mr Gray’s responsbilities will be taken over by the UK discretionary sales team.

Mr Gray joined Framlington Unit Management in 1998 before the firm was bought by Axa IM. He then became a regional sales manager prior to leading investment sales for London and South East.

An Axa IM spokesperson said: “We are disappointed to see [Mr Gray] go and would like to thank him for his contribution to the success that Axa IM has had over his time here. We wish him all the best for the future.”
