Troy to cut Global Equity fund fees

Troy Asset Management is to lower the fees on its £124m Trojan Global Equity offering in a move to grow the fund as its manager approaches a five-year track record.

The annual management charge on the adviser share class for the fund, which has been managed by Gabrielle Boyle since November 2011, will drop from 100 basis points (bps) to 85bps at the beginning of July.

This will bring the ongoing charges figure down from 113bps to 98bps.

According to FE Analytics the fund has returned 69.4 per cent since Ms Boyle joined, compared with 54.1 per cent from its peer group, the IA Global sector.
