Rory Percival to leave the FCA

Rory Percival will be leaving the Financial Conduct Authority to set up a training and consultancy firm “to support the advisory sector’s move towards greater professionalism”.

The technical specialist has been at the FCA - and its predecessor the FSA - for more than a decade.

Mr Percival was previously a financial adviser. He had also been training and compliance director at Fiona Price & Partners.

The FCA has confirmed Mr Percival will be leaving the regulator and said he will be leaving “in due course”.

Mr Percival had become the public face of the regulator in recent years, regularly speaking at events and engaging with the regulated community on social media.
