Trade bodies should be ashamed

A huge applause to Gill Cardy and the IFA Centre for putting their money where their mouth is – a true champion of the independent course.

Other trade bodies should, in my opinion, be ashamed of themselves for the stance they have taken on this important issue.

It once again shows that they are no longer relevant to the needs of independent advisers and firms. Hopefully firms will vote with their feet. Fill your boots Gill and good luck.

With a reported hike of more than 60 per cent it would seem that only the very desperate for referrals may put their hands in their pockets.
