National advisory group Perspective has announced that a quarter of the advisers across the business have now achieved Chartered status, as it continues its drive towards level six.

Following the announcement in September that a third of all group firms had achieved Chartered firm status, Perspective stated in its first quarter results this morning (7 May) that 25 per cent of all advisers have now achieved Chartered adviser status.

Perspective said in the results it had increased total income 5 per cent in the first quarter of this compared to the same period last year, as total assets topped £2.5bn. The company saw wrapped assets expand 23 per cent year-on-year.

The company, which allows local offices to retain their own individual branding, said recurring income swelled by 11 per cent to £2.9m in the first three months of the year and now represent 60 per cent of total revenue.

Peter Craddock, group operations director, commented, “Our strong performance in the first quarter post RDR, against the same period last year, reinforces our belief that our philosophy is correct and provides Perspective with a strong foundation for continued growth.”

He noted that since inception in 2008, Perspective had focused on preparing all its offices for the implementation of the Retail Distribution Review and ensuring it maintained high service levels for clients.

Mr Craddock added: “As we look to continue to grow, increase our recurring income levels and maintain marketing leading Ebitda we shall preserve our commitment to the highest compliance standards and to ensure the client remains at the forefront of our thinking. This is what we believe makes us profitable.

“2013 has started well and promises to be another exciting year with a number of acquisitions in the pipeline and trading in ‘the new world’ performing positively.”
