Standard Life has appointed Innes Miller into the newly-created role of head of adviser business solutions propositions.

He joins from Threesixty Services where he was head of consulting and M&A Support. Mr Miller’s main role will be to help adviser firms grow and add value, while reducing cost and risk in their business.

Mr Miller will report to Eddy Reynolds, head of adviser and investment proposition.

Mr Reynolds said: “Our relationship with advisers is key to the success of our business and we recognise the environment they are operating in is becoming increasingly complex and challenging.

“We want to work with advisers to provide the solutions and support to help them develop their business into profitable and efficient organisations. Innes’ experience makes him perfectly suited to the challenge.”

Mr Miller added: “This is a really exciting opportunity for me. I will be working collaboratively with adviser businesses to understand their needs and will develop solutions based on their feedback.

“Standard Life’s proposition for advisers is already an attractive one, and the delivery of business solutions is the natural next step.”
