A new masterclass, Fund of Funds: Making the Most of Your Choices, aims to provide some help for advisers.

In association with JP Morgan Asset Management, the masterclass at the Financial Times offices in London on 2 October, will focus on how advisers can unlock the advantages of RDR using centralised investment propositions.

It is clear that at face value many providers and funds look the same, but if you dig deeper there seems to be an Aladdin’s cave of investment options.

Beyond the generic fund profile, there are many differentiating factors that can help advisers separate the wheat from the chaff.

Speakers will include Tony Lanning, fund manager of the JPM Fusion Funds, Chris Hannant, director general of the Association of Professional Financial Advisers, and Charlotte Richards, vice-president of JP Morgan International Private Bank.

There will also be a panel session which will feature Mark Ommanney, business development manager for London-based investment adviser Bestinvest.

Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance that can be claimed as unstructured CPD. A free breakfast will be provided.
