Seminars will address the FCA’s latest thematic review of the post-RDR landscape, alongside changes to consumer credit licensing agreements and impact of the mortgage market review.

Beginning in November, the full schedule for the seminars, which will each last around two hours, is: 5 November, Birmingham; 19 November, Glasgow; 20 November, Leeds; 26 November, Bristol; and 27 November, Milton Keynes.

The events are free, aimed at directly authorised members and non-members, and can be booked by calling Tenet on 0800 085 0825.

Helen Turner, distribution and development director for Tenet, in Leeds, said: “Our aim is to provide extra, regular guidance on the big issues affecting the regulatory landscape.”

Adviser verdict: Simon Bonnett, adviser for Colchester-based Fiducia Wealth Management

“If they’re done in depth then I think they will be very useful, given the swathe of regulatory changes that we are seeing at the moment. One area that I’d like to see them cover, though, is the impact of the changes for platforms that are expected over the coming months.”
