One-star winners
The number of providers to receive the lowest ranking this year has decreased by one, with the majority of companies deemed very poor remaining largely unchanged.

CIS, Hornbuckle Mitchell, NPI and Phoenix once again all found themselves in the lowest category, despite receiving poor ratings for several years now.
These companies are joined by Lloyds TSB and Barnett Waddingham, both of which will be hoping to progress further in future years and not become mainstays in this category for very poor service.
Aside from this, the biggest change in the 2013 ranking comes from London & Colonial, which has slipped from last year’s respectable status as a four-star provider.
