Also, bear in mind that practically all agents offer ‘no sale, no fee’ contracts, which means inevitably that the people who sell end up paying for the work carried out on the properties that do not.

This will not apply to the vast majority of lawyers, medical professionals and financial advisers, who will charge whatever the result. I would also draw attention to the costs of seven-days-a-week trading as a differentiation.

I am not an estate agent, nor am I a financial adviser. Even so, I feel that everyone should be treated even-handedly and your article fails on just about every level.
