The nationwide Battle of the Asset Classes tour will see some of the UK’s leading investment managers and experts debate on the best multi-asset investments.

The first event takes place on Wednesday morning, April 23, at the Hilton Doubletree hotel in Manchester.

On Thursday April 24, Bristol’s Hilton Doubletree hotel will play host to the second roadshow event. Event hosts, Square Mile Investment Consulting & Research’s Richard Romer-Lee and Mark James, are expected to point to changes in the retirement market as the catalyst for a new way of viewing the client investment process and multi-asset investing.

They will then introduce speakers including Architas’s star multi-asset manager Caspar Rock, Pantheon International Participations’ Andrew Lebus and Legg Mason’s Ajay Dayal.

Investment expert Stephen Peters of Charles Stanley will also reveal his favoured asset class.

Investment professionals will have the opportunity to quiz panellists in a discussion session before breaking for a free lunch and networking.

The roadshow will roll on to Edinburgh on April 29, before hitting the Financial Times’ head office in London on May 1 and then finishing in Birmingham on May 13.
